Aquarium Trip!

The boys enjoyed touching the sting rays (well actually Taylor kept waiting and waiting on a shark. He didn't care too much for the sting rays).
 This was Taylor's favorite :)

He always looks so thrilled in our pictures LOL He really did have a good time!

The boys really liked the starfish too! Cole was a big help in showing Taylor how/where to touch.

We are on Winter Break this week! After all of the snow and ice, this week turned out to be more like a "spring" break. The weather was wonderful!!!!! Nana and Pappy took all of us to the aquarium and we had a great time! Baby girl is spoiled though and didn't really want to ride in the stroller---she was held most of the time, which is okay since she's my last baby (unless I can keep working on Kevin LOL). We enjoyed the dolphin show--it was so neat! Baby Girl decided to talk to all of the people around us but she finally gave in to her nap time and slept through most of the show! After exploring all that we could we made our way to the Varsity! It was so yum!

Baseball is starting to really pick up--4 to 5 practices a week between both boys and I am still teaching on Wednesday nights. It makes for a very busy week!!!!

Taylor plays in his first tournament in Lagrange the last weekend in March--also the same weekend that I run my next 5K! I have been training with my good friend Jennifer and we are ready to do this! It's made for some long days though---I don't go run until all of my babies are tucked into bed. I don't want to miss any time with them...bath and bedtime have always been my thing (though Kevin gets to enjoy Wednesday nights all by himself with his little girl while the rest of us are at church).

I've had a really though few weeks (even though I've had breaks from school)---parenting is so tough and I find myself struggling to give each child their own attention. Disciplining is hard---are we too strict? Not strict enough? But in the end all I can do is kneel and bring it to Jesus' feet....He gives grace and mercy and love to each of us each day. He is right here with us and guiding us all along this path. With Him beside me I know that in the end....He'll have us all exactly where we're all suppose to be!

All is grace.
All is love.

SNOW 2014

He's growing up so fast! Taylor-6 years old

Her Daddy made a sleigh out of our laundry basket...she loved having the boys pull her around!

Isn't she beautiful??!?!?!?!?

 Having fun!!!

He's such a handsome boy! Cole-13 years old

Here are my crazy men---they went out "hunting" after 2 days of being inside. They were about to go a little crazy being inside for so long. Day 3 Kevin went back to work and I was home with the boys and baby girl all by myself...I was ready for the boys to go back to school! ;)

The weather has been crazy (we are in our second stay at home from school--this time for ice). As a teacher, I really am hating this...LOVING the time with the kids (for the most part LOL) but don't like that the students are not on a schedule and we are behind on meeting standards to prepare for testing. Students are not making up the days, but teachers have to...but trust me...we all work extra at home and after school so we'll get the time made up!

Hope everyone is staying warm and safe with the crazy weather! Stay tuned for baseball pictures! (Cole didn't make the team, but it's okay....no 8th graders did and it was a great experience)
